Group hails SSG on revalidation of PDP membership

Akwa Ibom Patriotic Network has described the revalidation of PDP membership by the SSG Udom Emmanuel as a right step in the right direction. The group stated this last week after the revalidation exercise that held at the SSG’s ward in Onna Local Government Area. The National President of the group marcus MacDonald stated this while interacting with THE INK reporter shortly after the exercise in Uyio. The APN boss described Emmanuel Udom as a nice guy who despite his tight schedules found time to go and revalidate his membership of the PDP.

MacDonald maintained that it is not true that the membership of Udom Emmanuel was backdated. He said it is true that the SSG had joined the party since last year and he only went to his ward to revalidate his membership. He called on politicians to always cross check all informations before they send it to press noting that they should not be carried away by their desire to contest. He stressed the need for the PDP in Onna Local Government Area to join hands with the SSG to move the party forward in the Local Government Area and in the state.

APN however sent words of felicitation to Udom Emmanuel for revalidating his membership of the PDP and called on the SSG not to be deterred in his responsibilities to the state. APN however promised to do all it can to ensure that they contribute in building a conducive state where all will be proud of. The group also commended the state Governor Chief Godswill Akpabio for leading the state to the 26th edition of her birthday.
