The 2013 edition of the Akwa Ibom State
Governor’s cup will commence on Sunday 10th November, at various
centers in the state.
The State Football Association, organizers of
the yearly Sports Fiesta says this year’s competition will be exciting and
rewarding, as arrangements has been put in place for the success of the
competition.
A statement by the Head, Media
and Publicity of the Board of FA, Mr.
Uwem Ekoh indicates that draws for the football tourney will hold on
Tuesday 5th November, 2013 at Monti Suites along Edet Akpan Avenue
at 10.00am.
He regretted that registration
of teams this year has not been encouraging and called on Local Government
teams to register for the Governor’s Cup on or before the draws date.
