Stakeholders across all nine Local Government Areas of Akwa Ibom North East Senatorial District have endorsed the leadership representation of Senator Bassey Albert Akpan as re-deining and projecting their interests all year round and assured him of their unalloyed support to continue in office in 2019 as their best choice.
The stakeholders who at various fora during the yuletide made this known when the Distinguished Senator visited all nine Local Government Areas in the spirit of love and care.
At each stop across the nine local government areas that make up Uyo Senatorial District, Senator Bassey Albert Akpan was warmly received by stakeholders and chieftains of the party who described his representation as a success story that has changed the lives of Senatorial District with meaningful legislation and empowerment programmes which have been sustained all year round.
They charged the Senator to remain steadfast in his programmes and not be distracted by elements who had no basis to challenge his leadership qualities as they were overwhelmingly and unanimously satisfied with his contributions on the floor of the Senate and his lofty all season empowerment programmes and further assured him of their support in 2019.
Senator Bassey Albert Akpan urged the people of Uyo Senatorial District to continue to support the Governor Udom Emmanuel administration describing him as a leader that has set a new foundation that will re-engineer the growth of the state to laudable heights of excellence.
He further urged the people of Akwa Ibom North East Senatorial District to remain united in the developmental strides of the state and support Governor Udom Emmanuel to succeed while assuring that he will sustain the tempo of his empowerment programmes all year round in various spheres as he was determined to leave more milestones of achievements in 2017 that will enhance the lives of the people.
The Distinguished Senator during the tour of all nine local government areas distributed food items, gifts and cash donations in the spirit of the season.
