In his homily, the Guest Minister, Rev. (Dr.) Enobong Godspower who spoke on the topic “Your Prophet is your profit”, admonished the congregation to be steadfast in worshipping God, describing Evang. Prophet Michael Jonah as a gift to the community.

Dr. Godspower who took his text from Amos 3:3-8, called on the congregation to learn to celebrate the gift that God has sent to them.

In his message, the celebrator, Evang. Prophet Michael Jonah who is the General Overseer God’s Great Assemblies expressed gratitude to God for keeping him alive to celebrate his 30th birthday.

Evang. Jonah popularly called “Tear Rubber”, promised that he will continue to minister the gospel of Jesus Christ all the days of his life.

The man of God noted that God has used him to give hope to the hopeless, healed the sick, raised the dead as well as performing different kind of miracles.

Evang. Jonah used the occasion to donate wrappers, salt and other items to more than 30 widows. He also promised to donate a brand new motor-cycle to one of the widows during the Easter Convention of the Church.

The man of God advised the widows not to loose hope, but should continue to be prayerful, assuring that God being the husband to the widows will continue to take care of them. “I will not allow you to suffer, I will continue to support you in my own little way and I will always remember you in my prayers”, Tear Rubber assured.

It was gathered that Evang. Jonah had earlier donated N30,000 to a banana hawker to improve her business to mark the commencement of activities marking his 30th birthday celebration.

Responding, one of the widows who spoke on behalf of other beneficiaries thanked God for what He has used Evang. Jonah to do. She prayed God to continue to bless him, open ways for him, give him more wisdom to propagate the gospel of Jesus Christ and also render selfless services to humanity.
