LG polls: Ujo Mkparawa Abak five endorses Obong Iberedem Gabriel Etim
The frontline socio-political organization in Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District Ujo Mkparawa Abak Five, Abak Chapter endorsed Obong Iberedem Gabriel Etim has their sole chairmanship aspirant for the forthcoming Local Government election. 

The group made the position known recently during the investiture ceremony of Obong Iberedem Etim as the life patron of the association. 

Addressing the people, the chairman of the organization Adede Inemesit Akpan commended Obong Iberedem Etim’s huge commitment to embracing a district cultural identity as associated with the Annang race, adding that the initiative is “amply armed with a broad view to repositioning Abak culturally and add value to political circles of Abak in the politics of Akwa Ibom State. 

The youth leader also noted that in consolidating Abak’s democratic ethos through Obong Iberedem Gabriel Etim’s investiture as patron Ujo Mkparawa Abak Five, the chairmanship hopeful has clearly demonstrated a capacity to encourage the growth of political circle of Abak and have in the process furthered the frontiers for the continued preservation of her peoples. 

Adede Inemesit Akpan said the socio-political organization was formed to support transparent leadership, good governance, equity and justice, adding that Obong Iberedem Gabriel Etim meet their set standard and they are all out to give him their unalloyed support for the forthcoming Local Government election. 

Adede Akpan described Obong Iberedem Etim (KSM), as humble, God-fearing and transparent leader who has all it takes to move Abak Local Government Area to the next level of development. The group beacon on him to contest the forth-coming Local Government election and pledged to mobilize supporters from all the wards in Abak Local for him. Also speaking the councillorship aspirant in Afaha Obong ward II, Akparawa Edidiong Uko, assured Ujo Mkparawa Abak five, Abak chapter of his group readiness to partner them to make sure that, obong Iberedem Gabriel Etim get to block votes from Afaha obong ward II during the forthcoming Local government election. 

The councilor hopeful noted that Obong Iberedem Etim has used his position to touch the lives of many people positively, both in the church, community and the society at large. “He is a born-give”. He called on every right thinking youths of Abak to support the chairmanship aspiration of Obong Iberedem Gabriel Etim as a leader for today’s youths.
