Governor Udom Emmanuel has approved the recruitment of at least 3000 teachers for public primary schools in the state. This was contained in a statement made available by elder Ezekiel Umoh, the permanent secretary in the State Universal Basic Education Board [SUBEB].
Governor Udom Emmanuel has approved the recruitment of at least 3000 teachers for public primary schools in the state. This was contained in a statement made available by elder Ezekiel Umoh, the permanent secretary in the State Universal Basic Education Board [SUBEB].
He stated that the application is open to suitably qualified indigenes of the state. He also explained that all prospective applicants must have a First School leaving certificate [FSLC], WASSCE, NECO or GCE and the National Certificate in Education [NCE].
According to him, ‘’those with Higher Certificates or Statements of Result are not expected to apply. The applicants are expected to collect their forms at State College Ikot Ekpene; Government School, Afaha Eket; West Itam Secondary School and Aka Community Secondary School respectively, depending on their senatorial district on the 8th ,9th and 10th of May, 2017.
Elder Ezekiel Umoh added that the credentials should be addressed to the Executive Chairman, State Universal Basic Education Board [SUBEB], at Idongesit Nkanga Secretariat Complex, Uyo.
