ACA Coordinator advises youths to vote PDP
The Coordinator of Akwa Ibom Consolidation Alliance (ACA), Afaha Obong Ward 2 in Abak local government area, Mr. Friday Asuquo Otu has advised the youths of Afaha Obong Ward 2 to shun opposition and vote for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) at all levels during the forth-coming general election.

Mr. Otu who gave the advice when the youths of Afaha Obong Ward 2 under the aegis of Conglomeration of Youths for Democratic Liberty (CYDL) paid him a courtesy visit on New Year day, thanked God for making the day possible and the youths for the visit, describing the day as very memorable in his life.
The ACA Ward Coordinator called on the youths to continue to support Chief Godswill Akpabio’s administration to land well and produce a good successor in the person of Mr. Udom Gabriel Emmanuel.

The former Councillorship aspirant commended the State Governor, Chief Godswill Akpabio for the numerous achievements he has recorded in the state in the past seven years, describing it as unprecedented in the history of the state.


He advised the youths to go back to their respective units and mobilize the people on the need to support Mr. Udom Emmanuel to become the next Governor and all other PDP candidates during the forth-coming general election.

The ACA Coordinator who acknowledged the contributions of the youths to the development of the society and the success of elections, lauded the youths of Afaha Obong Ward 2 for coming together under one umbrella to work towards achieving a common goal.

He however regretted lack of a political leader in the ward and prayed God to give the ward a good political leader who would move the ward forward.

Mr. Otu pledged his readiness to carry everybody along and called on all to unite and work together for the development of Afaha Obong.

The ACA Ward Coordinator used the occasion to commend the Champion of ACA in Abak local government area and Commissioner for Information and Communications, Mr. Aniekan Umanah for using his position to touch the lives of the people of the area positively.

He also thanked the State Governor, Chief Godswill Akpabio and the leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state for appointing an illustrious son of Abak, Mr. Moses Ekpo as the PDP Deputy Governorship candidate.

Also speaking, the wife of the Coordinator, Mrs. Friday Otu thanked the youths for honouring her husband with the New Year visit and for always standing and supporting him in whatever he does.
Mrs. Otu called on the youths to always put God first in whatever they do and advised them against supporting opposition party, but should rather support PDP candidates at all levels.

Earlier, the Coordinator, Conglomeration of Youths for Democratic Liberty, Afaha Obong Ward 2, Mr. Monday Isaac said the youths decided to visit Mr. Friday Otu to intimate him of the readiness of the youths in the ward to work together with him to ensure total victory for PDP during the forth-coming general election.

Mr. Isaac commended the ACA Ward Coordinator for the transparent manner he is piloting the affairs of ACA in the ward and pledged the support of the youths to him.
The Youth Leader used the occasion to intimate Mr. Friday Otu of the intention of the youths to hold Democracy Lecture in the ward to educate the electorates on the need to support and vote for PDP during the forth-coming general election.

Mr. Monday Isaac was accompanied on the visit by village youth leaders including Ita Sunday Etukudo, Samuel Anwan Udoh, Prince Etim, Emmanuel Paul, Ekerette Colinus, Uduak Ezekiel among others.
