Youth leader returns his children to God

Youth leader returns his children to God
“Whatever I call my own, I return unto there, O Lord, because they are all yours”. Those were the Solemn Prayer of Deacon. Samuel Etukudo, the President General of Five Villages Youth Movement, Eket on Sunday January 4, 2015 during the dedication services of his children, Master Adam and Prosper Samuel Etukudo at The Apostolic Church, Mount Elijah Assembly, Federal Housing Estate, Eket.

Delivering a sermon on the topic “Children are Precious Gifts from God”, the Minister in Charge, Pastor A. S. Akpekong said parents are but custodians of children unto God and they belong to the creator.
“Therefore to dedicate a child to God is another way of returning him to his creator alive”, Pastor Akpekong said.
He admonished parents to make sure they bring up their children in the ways of God because when they grow up they will not depart from it.

Mrs. Margaret Samuel Etukudo, Mother of the Children thanked God for His mercies during pregnancy and childbirth, stressing on the need for a pregnant woman to always seek the presence of God as the period of pregnancy is always tedious with lots of attack from agents of the devil.

Deacon Samuel Etukudo on his part danced his way into the heart of God with Solemn Songs of praises, thanking God for His grace and mercies.

It was a day to remember as dignitaries from within and outside the state graced the occasion.
Prominent among those who shared in the thanksgiving service included the former speaker of Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Hon Bassey Essien, the Paramount Ruler of Esit Eket, HRM Edidem Assam Peter, Barrister George Abia from Abuja, Hon Emmanuel Mbong, Mr. Sunny Isong, Elder Godwin Nduaesa, Rt.
