The Pioneer Commissioner for Information in the State, Mr. Moses Ekpo has continued to receive goodwill messages on his nomination as the PDP Deputy Governorship Candidate.
The latest came from a former Councilor who represented Otoro Ward 3 in Abak Legislative Council, Elder Ikemesit Ayara.
In his message, Elder Ayara described the appointment of Mr. Moses Ekpo as meritorious and well-deserved, pointing out that the appointment is the best thing to happen to Abak Local Government Area in particular and the former Abak Division in general.
The Former Councilor extolled the qualities of the former Director General, Copyright Commissioner, describing him as a transparent, straight-forward and God fearing man who has excellent track record.
He expressed the hope that with his experience, Mr. Moses Ekpo will add value and contribute positively for the success of the in-coming administration in the state.
The former full-time Board Member (Executive Director) Akwa Ibom Environmental Protection and Waste Management Agency assured Mr. Moses Ekpo and Mr. Udom Emmanuel of 100 percent votes from Otoro Ward 3.
Elder Ayara however appealed that Otoro Ward 3 being a PDP Ward, should be included in the activities of the Party in the Local Government Area and at the State Level.
He thanked the State Governor, Chief Godswill Akpabio and the leadership of PDP in the State for finding an illustrious son of Abak worthy to occupy the Number 2 Seat in the State.
The Akwa Ibom Consolidation Alliance (ACA) Abak Chapter Officer also made case for Otoro Ward 3 to be given the opportunity to pilot the affairs of politics in Abak Local Government Area.
The Former Councilor also rejoiced with “Ette Aru Otoro, Elder Friday Iwok on his emergence as the PDP Standard bearer for Abak State Constituency.
Elder Ayara who described the victory of Elder Iwok at the recently concluded PDP Primaries as the work of God, assured that the people of Otoro Ward 3 will continue to stand by him and give him overwhelming support during the forth-coming election.
The Former Councilor appealed to the Chairman House Committee on Health to carry the people of Otoro Ward 3 along in his programmes and activities.
He prayed God to continue to give the “Ette Aru Otoro” more wisdom and enablement to continue in the task of giving the people of Abak effective and purposeful representation.
