The state chairman of Akwa Ibom Transport Operators Movement, Mr. Kinsley Akpan a.k.a Kingibe has congratulated Mr. Udom Gabriel Emmanuel on his official declaration and presentation of the flag as the Peoples Democratic Party governorship candidate in the state, describing it as flag well deserved.
Mr. Kinsley made the position while interacting with journalists in his office after celebrating the presentation of the PDP governorship candidate flag to Mr. Udom Emmanuel by the national leadership of the People Democratic Party in Lagos.
The chairman of the Akwa Ibom Transport Operators Movement while thanking God for giving Akwa Ibom people a capable leader, who will consolidate on the legacies of Governor Godswill Akpabio in 2015, said Udom’s victory at the primaries election was as a result of Akwa Ibom people decision but not on the grounds of imposition.
He maintain that the emergence of Udom as the People Democratic Party flag bearer was also as a result of the conviction that Udom has the capacity and the need qualities to lead Akwa Ibom and its people into a greater future hence his victory in a true, free and fair democratic process.
Mr. Kingsley Akpan who has been advocating and packaging the emergence of Udom Emmanuel, seized the opportunity to explain that Udom’s eight point agenda will consolidate on the legacies and goodwill of governor Godswill Akpabio to strengthen and maintain the existing ethic harmony, peaceful co-existence among the three ethic nationalities and called for a total support for Udom during the general elections.
