It was a glorious home-coming for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Deputy Governorship Candidate, Mr. Moses Ekpo as he touched down at the Akwa Ibom International Airport from his oversee trip.
On hand to receive the pioneer Commissioner for Information in the State at the Airport was the Abak Chapter of Akwa Ibom Consolidation Alliance (ACA) who had mobilized all the Chapter executive members, Ward Coordinators, executives and members to the Airport.
The ACA members and their women beautifully dressed in different uniforms were led to the Airport by the Abak Chapter Coordinator of the organization, Barr. Aniekan Uko.
Speaking with journalists, Barr. Aniekan Uko said Akwa Ibom Consolidation Alliance, Abak Chapter decided to mobilize themselves to the Airport to receive their worthy and illustrious son, Mr. Moses Ekpo.
Barr. Uko who is also the Secretary, Abak local government Council thanked the State Governor, Chief Godswill Akpabio and the leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party in the state for finding their illustrious son worthy to be appointed as the PDP Deputy Governorship candidate.
The ACA Chapter Coordinator described the appointment of Mr. Moses Ekpo as the beginning of good things to come to the former Abak Division. “I see it as the beginning of better things to come to this part of the state, former Abak Division as a whole. I see it as giving us a sense of belonging and I see it as giving us a greater voice in this government. So, I want to thank the State Governor, Chief Godswill Akpabio, State Chairman of the party, Mr. Paul Ekpo and our touch-bearer, Mr. Udom Emmanuel and the entire state for accepting us to produce the next Deputy Governor in the person of Mr. Moses Ekpo,” the ACA Chapter Coordinator stated.
On arrival at the Airport, the Abak Chapter of ACA met the Champion of ACA in the Abak and Commissioner for Information and Communications, Mr. Aniekan Umanah who was already waiting for the arrival of the Deputy Governorship candidate.
Addressing the mammoth crowd at his Abak residence, the Deputy Governorship candidate, Mr. Moses Ekpo expressed happiness with the large turn-out of ACA members and the entire people of Abak at the Airport.
Mr. Ekpo called on the people of Abak to support PDP at all levels during the forth-coming election, assuring that he will not disappoint them if elected.
