2015 general election- Royal father advises youths to shun violence
With barely few weeks to the  2015 general election, the Village Head of Utu Edem Akai in Abak local government area, Chief Fabian Joseph Sampson has advised youths to shun violence and thuggery, but should vote for credible candidates who have the interest of the people at heart.

Chief Sampson who was addressing the youths of his village in his Palace recently, warned against destroying government properties and called on the youths to continue to support the government of Chief Godswill Akpabio to land well and produce a good successor who will continue on his good works.

Chief Sampson who is the Chairman, Conference of Village Heads Abak Chapter, commended Chie Akpabio for making the people of the state proud through the numerous achievements he has recorded in the state in the past seven years.

While congratulating Chief Akpabio on his 52nd birthday, the royal father who described him as the “Director of Uncommon Transformation” prayed God to give him many more fruitful years and the wisdom to continue to discharge his duties effectively.


The Village Head assured Chief Akpabio of the support of the people of his village and the Conference of Village Heads Abak Chapter for his Senatorial aspiration.

Chief Sampson expressed the hope that Chief Akpabio’s sojourn in the Upper Chambers of the National Assembly would be of immense benefit to the people of Ikot Ekpene Senatorial district in particular and the state in general.

The royal father also hoped that as a Senator representing Ikot Ekpene senatorial district, Chief Akpabio will continue to look into the welfare of the traditional rulers. He wished the people of his village a prosperous new year.

All those who spoke at the meeting, assured that they will vote for PDP at all levels. They assured Chief Godswill Akpabio of 100 percent votes in his senatorial aspiration.
