Kingdom Project

 

Essence:
The essence of this movement is to inform our people and subsequently mobilize them to play proactive roles in installing God-led, God-focused and God-driven governance come 2015 and beyond in Akwa Ibom State.

Structure:
Our principal partners will be committee Christians, Christian Youth Bodies, and Churches, and Christian Organizations that have indicated interest, who also subscribed to our guiding principles.

Guiding Principles:
Foremost on our guiding principles is our acknowledgement of our Lord Jesus Christ as the only begotten Son of God, sole route to salvation, and God-manifested. These principles are the fundamentals of the basic tenets of Christianity.

We intend the platform to be non-partisan and to project no individual or group interest outside that of making the church (the body of Christ) our focus and prime beneficiary of this Movement.

Activities:
Mobilization of our people based on informed knowledge will be top on our agenda priority. To ensure informed knowledge, we will embark on massive and substantial information of the people through every possible means including seminars and other enlightenment campaigns avenues. The above will ensure that the electorates assess every candidate based on their manifesto rather than intimidation and inducements. By this prospective candidates will be compelled to undertake, and adopt proper campaign principles and be willing to subject themselves to proper character and relevant scrutiny.

Please Note:
As in any and every association, we are unapologetic in making bold to say that this project is for Christians. We have the greatest respect for those of other faiths, but this is for chrisitans, and we believe that those of other faiths will also respect our right of association. Part of our programme will be to get every aspirant, and later, candidate, to state clearly their vision for the State, and specific programme for every LGA.
