Udom’s declaration: A rally of honour

When God decides to honour a man after  His heart even his enemy have no option that to bow to God’s decision(Esther 6v7-14). According to the story Mordecai was honored as prescribed by Haman (evil enemy of the Jews)but Haman suffered humiliation and dead(Esther 7v9-10).

The transition in Akwa Ibom State has God’s hand in it, we should only pray for a divine guidance for no man born of a woman can stop the will of God. “For I know that the Lord is great and our Lord is above all gods. Whatsoever the Lord pleased that he did in heaven, and in earth in the seas and all the deep places”. 

(Psalms135v5-6) Notwithstanding the hatred of Joseph’s brother and their refusal to honor him at home in their father’s house, they still bow before him in a foreign land of Egypt.(Rev 3v8-9)... I know thy works: 

behold I have set before thee(UDOM)an open door, and no man can shut it. Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan....to bow before thy feet and to know that I have loved thee. The selection in the house of Jesse for the king ship of Isreal favored David because that was the arrangement of God, not how long he was in politics. God took David to the bush to learn how to take care of the sheep(people), trained him how to defend the sheep from the Lion and the bear.

Similarly, King Ahasuerus ordered Haman to gorgeously dressed Mordecai, “put him on the King’s horse and take him on horse back through the streets(LGAs) of the city(Akwa Ibom state), and proclaim before him, this is the man whom the king delights to honor”(Esther 6v 1-11). The Town Hall meeting THM came and gone where the people spoke in agreement that ESD should be allowed to produce the Governor come 2015. Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)confirmed the Zoning to ESD. Never has any political Zoning been done without somebody in mind. Udom Emmanuel went on private consultations across the State and the acceptance was overwhelming. In Eket Federal Constituency, his people among them, Traditional Rulers, council chairmen and councillors, Political Leaders, youth and women groups came out voluntarily to honor their son to confirmed that a prophet(UDOM) has respect even in his own home.

The totality of his acceptance during the Town Hall Meetings, private consultations, Eket Federal Constituency Rally, persuasions from Socio- political groups in the state that led to his final resignation and release by the Governor,  Chief Godswill O. Akpabio (CON), culminated to the unprecedented crowd at the Uyo declaration on Tuesday 21st October,2014. The clement weather, peaceful conduct and the mammoth crowd attest to God’s divine direction and purposes for the people of Akwa Ibom state in and beyond 2015. We should be sober and vigilant because the political adversaries as a roaring lion are seeking whom they may deceives. 

It is evident that God called Moses to lead Isreal and later directed him to anoint Joshua to take over after him but when Isreal decided to ignore God and chose their judges the were in several troubles until they turned to God and sought him.(2chron 15v1-6). I call on Akwa Ibom people to seek God daily in their prayers for a peaceful transition, prayers for Gods divine protection on our Leader Chief Godswill Akpabio and his family for greater is your reward from God and those who appreciate your good works.

 To Udom G. Emmanuel, There shall be no man able to stand before you all the days of your life, as I was with Moses(GOA), so I will be with you, I will not fail nor forsake you. Only be thou strong and very courageous.(Joshua1v5- 7). To politicians in the governorship, Senate, House of Reps and House of Assembly race be diligent in your campaigns accept God guidance, if it is not you please support the winner and you the winner extend hands of fellowship to the looser. Together let us build our state and Nation so that the Labors of our Heroes past shall not be in vain. Our electorates should not engage on rumors and dangerous scandals, please you should not be the reason why any blood, Life or property is destroyed, ‘For God shall bring every work into judgment whether it be good or evil’.(Eccl 12v14).
