Heritage Polytechnic announces admission

 

A first class polytechnic in Nigeria, Heritage Polytechnic Eket, has announced that  admission into 2014/2015 academic session is in progress.   

 

 

The Founder of Heritage Polytechnic ,Eket,Akwa Ibom State, Dr Emmanuel Ekott who made this known during an interactive session with newsmen in his office over the weekend said, the institution  offers  the following NBTE accredited courses ,ND and HND Accountancy,ND and HND
Business Administration and Management, ND and HND
Marketing, ND and HND
Public Administration, ND and HND
Mass Communication, ND and HND
Science Laboratory Technology, ND and HND
Biochemistry,  ND and HND
Industrial Chemistry,  ND and HND
Environmental Biology, ND and HND
Microbiology ,ND and HND
Physics Electronics, ND and HND
Statistics, ND and HND
Computer Science, ND and HND
Computer Engineering, ND and HND
Electrical and Electronic Engineering ,ND and HND
Telecommunication Engineering ,  ND and HND
Power and Machine Engineering,   ND and HND

Dr Ekott,an engineer by profession while reacting to questions by newsmen on the possibility of the institution participating in NYSC programme posited  that, students of the institution are not left out in NYSC programmes. Stressing that,recently,the institution received recommendations from various NYSC camps across the country applauding the institution for the outstanding performances of their students during orientation exercise.                      

 

The Founder also called  on Akwa Ibom people and Nigerians to embrace the programmes of the polytechnic  as 2 years is 2 years,without  strike or  cultism.     

                                    
He further added that, HND graduates are mobilized for NYSC immediately.     Ekott also reiterates the commitment of the institution to train its students  with the best equipment .  While announcing that ,the institution  now boast of 28 accredited courses both at diploma and higher diploma level , with not less than 6 doctorate degree holders lecturing.
