Clergy calls for steadfastness in services to God

The General Overseer of         Supreme Word Evangeli        cal Mission, Rev. Dominic Uwemabasi has called on men in God’s vineyard to be diligent and steadfast in the work of advancing God’s Kingdom.

He made the Statement in his office in Uyo recently while chatting with newsmen.

According to him, “My message to all the Pastors in God’s Vineyard is that, whenever God gives them a vision, they must not depend on people. They must look up to God who will now use whoever he wishes to make sure that the vision comes to pass.

“I know what it took us to come to this level. So, any Pastor who has a vision of this nature should really depend on God.”

Evangelist Uwemabasi called on Christians to always give their support to works in the house of God in order to advance the kingdom of God.

He thanked members of the Church and well-wishers who have in one way and the other supported the building project of “It is Possible Cathedral.”

Speaking on the event, the Senior Pastor of the Church, Rev. Uwemabasi said the Cathedral will be commissioned on the 18th of October 2014 by 10:00am
It was also announced that the Speaker, Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Elder Samuel Ikon will be the Guest of Honour.

Still speaking on the event, the G.O of the Church said that the theme, “The Lord’s Blessing” as inspired by the Holy Spirit will be a season of harvest for the labour of love of God’s Children towards the project.

Packaged as a one week programme, the event will also mark the 2014 annual convention of the Church beginning from 12th Oct, 2014 to 19th Oct, 2014.
It will feature normal services on Sundays but from Monday to Friday, there will be evening services except on Wednesday being 15th Oct, 2014 when there will be a Miracle Fast in the morning between the hours of 6am-12 noon and a Praise Service in evening from 5pm-8pm.

Expected Ministers in the programme are; Prophet Abraham Abraham, Prophet Ubong Akpambong, Apostle Godwin Abraham, Rev. Israel Alexander, Evang Tony Etuk, Prophet Nengimote Nengite and the host, Evang/Prophetess Dominic Uwemabasi.

Expressing is view on the event, the host said that he will be glad to partake in the epoch event where God’s blessings will be unleashed on God’s people.
He called on well- wishers, friends of the church and Christians to take part in the 2014 convention of the church as activities have been lined-up to attract God’s blessings to the people.
