Gubernatorial aspirant, Prince Owoidigheabasi Jacob Adiakpan, has hailed the people of Ekid nation for the outstanding reception held in honour of Rt Hon Chief Nduese Essien, who represented Akwa Ibom State at the just concluded national conference.
Speaking to news men at the reception venue, O.J Adiakpan noted that as a true Ekid son,Chief Nduese Essien had always dutifully excelled in all responsibilities given to him and so deserved to be honoured. He recalled how chief Essien had been meritorious as a member of the federal executive council and minister for lands and housing .
He congratulated Chief Essien on the reception and also urged the elder statesman to bring his experience to bare in guiding the people of Ekid nation and Akwa ibom State as preparations thickens for the choice of Gov Akpabio’s successor. Prince Adiakpan, A former Installation Mgr with Exxon Mobil hinted that he was about consulting the Peoples Democratic Party over his ambition to govern the state as Akwa Ibom deserved nothing but the best come 2015.
