The people of Etinan Federal Constituency have been assured of an effective and robust representation that would attract more development under the leadership of Hon. David Etuk who holds the ace and likely favourite to pick the Peoples Democratic Party ticket next month.
In a show of solidarity and overwhelming endorsement which featured various groups and stakeholders across the three local government areas of Etinan, Nsit Ubium and Nsit Ibom, the people have commended the former Governor’s aide on Projects for his meritorious service to Akwa Ibom State where he served as Special Assistant to the Akwa Ibom State Governor on Projects and Chairman, Inter- Ministerial Direct Labour Committee, Eket Senatorial District.
The Stakeholders described David Etuk as an exemplary leader and team player in the success story of the Uncommon Transformation years of the Akpabio administration as he successfully implemented the vision of the amiable governor as he has consolidated in developing community based projects in Eket Senatorial District.
As such, the people of the area have expressed happiness and relief that Hon. David Etuk has finally heeded the clarion call of the good people of Etinan Federal Constituency in order to bring his wealth of experience in government for the development of his federal constituency.
The stakeholders further stated that with the entry of David Etuk in the race for Etinan Federal Constituency, the people of the area are now rest assured of a fresh breath of leadership at the National Assembly, a face that holds brighter prospects for the people and a leadership that would chart a stronger course of transformation for the future.
The leaders of Etinan Federal Constituency further stated that they had rejected the so called other aspirants who over the years have been recycled faces pursuing their own selfish interests rather than ensuring the development of the area and the people.
The emergence of David Etuk has finally turned the tables against other aspirants in the area who have been described as spent forces who failed to make meaningful landmarks in the area when elected to serve.
David Etuk has been described as a great philanthropist, a community leader, an astute and distinguished leader who has been held in high esteem by the elders of Akwa Ibom State and a pride to the youths who see in him as the next mandate of their generation at the National Assembly.
In his remarks, Hon. David Etuk described his call to serve his fatherland as divine and promised the people of Etinan Federal Constituency that his tenure when duly elected will ensure the attraction of meaningful projects from the Federal Government as well as a sustained empowerment programme that would uplift the lives and well being of the people at all times.
He said he will always put the Constituency first in his official strides as he will strive for excellence as there will be no room for failure.
