Thomas Thomas: My take BY IYIET EDIDIONG UMOH

It is no more a secret-ill move instituted by  Hunter Godswill Akpabio as his few months to be called an ex-Governor is collapsing into an injury time. Many are aware that Governor Godswill Akpabio was given 14days by the Supreme Court to file his defense against the charges mated on him by the reputable Engr. Frank Okon, and rather than respond to the demand of the Supreme Court, he has thought it to unwisely to seek for the heads of journalists, activists, clerics, etc.  It should be noted that by this action, he has made a fool of the NATIONAL ASSEMBLY who found it fit with credence to pass the F.O.I bill into law.   

When Dr. Mrs Okonjo Iweala leveled Governor Akpabio to dust over the lies told by this criminal Governor against the Federal government, Dr. Mrs. Okonjo Iweala clearly added that it is as if Akwa Ibomites have no voice to react against the undeserving claims and innumerable lies of Governor Akpabio.  Which podiums have we to expose the truth we know about this well fed rogue than our tabloid and other similar spaces on tabloid, internets and letters to the Presidency? Is silence in the face of injustice the best option?

 If Governor Akpabio is not a coward, and if the many things that have published against his claims are untrue with no iorta of truth, why didn’t Governor Akpabio stand up and challenge Dr. Mrs Okonjo Iweala’s expository series about him…? Governor Akpabio has cases here and there to answer rather than demonstrating his ill gotten muscle against a poor boy who has read the stories of the early nationalists and how they fought their way to freedom through the use of their biro. When we were suffering in the hands of the colonial powers, if they were no people like us who rose to the plight for independence and freedom, Governor Akpabio wouldn’t have seen a State to rape and bedevil at will as against the dictates of the Constitution on which the Country exist upon.   Governor Akpabio, if your juju is looking for someone’s head, would you prefer the head of a man who has a stand against evil? Would it have been a man who is not willing to compromise the feelings of the impoverished and dying masses?

Is it Thomas Thomas that has been responsible for the political kidnappings in the State? Is it Thomas Thomas that has been responsible for the taking of unjustified loans with the name of the State government?  Is it Thomas Thomas who contested 2007 party-primaries with the titled of being a Barrister at LAW? A serious matter which former Governor Victor Attah pleaded for you, and you were forgiven. Is it Thomas Thomas that is looting the State’s treasury on monthly bases? Is it Thomas Thomas that as at some years ago was campaigning against the emergence of His Excellency, Goodluck Jonathan as then acting President? 

Is it Thomas Thomas that has been insulting former Governor Attah? “a man who rose against all odds to reclaim the economic rights of the Niger-Delta which you have been a first ungrateful and assaulting beneficiary”. Is it Thomas Thomas that has ruled the State to death? Is it Thomas Thomas that is ruling the State as if it is an animal kingdom? Is it Thomas Thomas that was responsible for the ethnic-conflicts at Ikot-Ekpene and Uyo in 2010, of which lives and property were lost as I earlier forecasted in a prophetic message and thoroughly warn you against it as the mastermind of this dastard act which the Court proved me right by vindicating Senator John Udoedehe whom you liar turned round to accuse?  

Governor Ino Obot Akpabio, is it Thomas Thomas that demanded for such an undeserving and alarming pension which you used your bingos in the State House of Assembly to sign into law? Whereas many have served the government above thirty years and are trying to see if they can make their way to the line of pensioners, as some have even died on the strangled line of waiting void of hope., but you served only for 7 years and demanded for a pension sum which as wicked as the devil is, the devil can protest against. Governor Akpabio, you are deceiving yourself. Thomas Thomas has made journalistic publications about you, but I will write books about you and document it in the historic archieves about your tortuous and ill-reign.  Governor Akpabio, even if you are another wall of Jericho, you will surely be broken!

Her Excellency, (Mrs) Dame Patience Jonathan, even with her high visible strides on the globe in salvaging the rights of womanwood in and outside Nigeria, has not for once laid claims to being the Mother Theresa of our time but a matron of gross impropriety and fraud, I mean a born and bred partner in crime, who compliments your thieving gents, and gang formed against democracy and the sovereign prestige of Nigeria would rather not stop at anything in making claims that even superiors are scared to claim.  To the western powers, democracy is an expression and expansion of man’s freedom as it makes for the tonic of democratic ideals, and litmus test for legitimacy and egalitarian status, but to the criminal Governor Godswill Akpabio, democracy is talking nonsense, neither is  the Presidential powers, the legislative and the judiciary has any instinct and powers against his madness.

Woe unto Governor Akpabio and Akpabioism. The views of democratic scholars  who dwell in good  conscience like Dr. Mrs. Okonjo Iweala can really picture the democratic mismatch called Akpabio who has formed a new ethnic group called Akpabiosm which is  far different from  the Annang-Ibibio nation. Governor Akpabio you have no  meaning in leadership neither do you have a  place in credence. You are but  a bunch of roque into one and be rest assured that you will pay for these because KARMA  DOES NOT LIE. 

It was Ken Saro-wiwa that said, that you can only kill the messenger, you cannot kill the message. The fake clean hands of equity to sue Thomas Thomas is null and void. This is known to all that Thomas Thomas is not the problem of Akwa Ibom state rather it is Governor Akpabio. He was rather show casing his sincerity and patriotism for the ruled., and to this end, An injury to one is an injury to all.  My brother is my brother! Thomas Thomas you are not alone.
