A former Councilor who represented Otoro Ward 2 in Abak Legislative Council, Hon Prince Francis Umoh has said that the immediate past Governor of the State, Chief Godswill Akpabio will continue to be a shinning star whenever he finds himself.
Hon. Prince Francis Umoh who spoke with Journalists in Uyo on the emergence of Chief Godswill Akpabio as the Senate Minority Leader, attributed it to hardwork and a reward for the numerous achievements he recorded during his 8-years tenure as the Governor of state. “Once you do good, the result is that good things will continue to follow you. For a first –timer to rise and become the Senate Minority Leader is commendable. Now that he is working hand- in hand with the Senate President, I believe he stands a very good chance of attracting dividends of democracy to the state.
So I congratulate him on this great feat”, Prince Umoh stated. The retired Superintendent of Police wished Senator Godswill Akpabio continuous progress and success, stressing that he will one day attain a more higher position.
Prince Francis Umoh who is the Leader of One Family Organization, advised the Senate Minority Leader to continue to shine in the upper chamber of the National Assembly and tract more dividends of democracy so that his people at home will be out of poverty and prayed God to grant him a very successful tenure.
On the inauguration of Transition Committee for the 31 Local Government areas of the state, Prince Umoh described it as a welcome development, but advised that they should work to attract development to their respective Councils instead of working for their selfish interest.
He called for free and transparent election during the next councillorship and chairmanship election, warning against imposition of candidates. Prince Umoh pointed out that the most popular candidate that would be acceptable by the generality of people should not be denied the opportunity of representing his people.
On One Family Organization, Prince Umoh said the main objective of the organization is to unite and bring the people of Otoro clan in Abak Local Government area together.
