Youth Activist hails Udom on Samson Idiong’s choice

A frontline Youth Activist in the State, Comr. Bassey Samuel (Jr.) has commended the State Governor, Deacon Udom Gabriel Emmanuel for the appointment of one of their own, a grass rooter and a great mobilizer, Hon. Sampson Udo-Idiong as the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Inter-ministeral and Direct Labour projects.
Comr. Bassey stated this recently in Uyo shortly after the announcement of Hon. Idiong’s appointment.
He described Hon. Idiong’s elevation as a round peg in a round hole, who will bring his wealth of experience as a former aide to Governor Akpabio to bear while discharging his duties diligently.
According to the Youth Leader “With Idiong’s appointment, I think he will interpret the dreams and visions of Governor Udom Emmanuel’s led administration in terms of quality and timely project delivery in a bid to give the State a new face lift”.
He particularly salute the pragmatic effort of Hon. Idiong who worked tirelessly in the quest of delivering all PDP candidates in the last general elections. He said the Governor has taken a right steps in a right direction by choosing one of their own to occupy such an exalted office.
Consequently, Comr. Bassey Jr. gives an optimism that Idiong will use his new office to key-in, in the objectives of Udom’s led administration. He however, pledged his unflinching support and un-alloyed loyalty to the present administration.
