Drivers partner Local Government Council on sanitation

Drivers in Abak Local Government Area under the umbrella of Inter State Drivers Association of Nigeria (ISDAN) Abak Chapter, last Wednesday embarked on a sanitation exercise. The Executive and members of the Association were seen removing debris from the gutters as well as cleaning the environment. Speaking with our reporter, the Chairman of the Association, Elder Friday Udo-Obot said they decided to partner the Local Government Council under the leadership of Dr. Emmanuel Udosen in the area of environmental sanitation which the council has already started.

Elder Udo-Obot commended the Transition Committee Chairman for Abak, Dr. Emmanuel Udosen for his wisdom and initiative, pointing out that the compulsory environmental sanitation exercise organized by the council has started yielding positive result as Abak is now clean again.
The Chairman assured that members of his Association will continue to participate in the exercise so as to keep Abak clean. He called on the people of Abak to embrace the “Operation Keep Abak Clean” policy of Dr. Emmanuel Udosen’s administration and also join hands together and support him to succeed.
Elder Udo-Obot thanked members of his Association for coming out in large numbers for the exercise and prayed God to bless and reward them.
