Abak Students congratulate Moses Ekpo, Friday Iwok …salute Umanah, Udosen, Ukpe


Students of Abak Local Government Area under the umbrella of Federated Abak Students Association (FASA) have congratulated Mr. Moses Ekpo on his emergence as the Deputy Governor of Akwa Ibom State, the first in the history of Abak Local Government Area.

In a congratulatory message signed by the Worldwide President, Comrade Itoro Augustine H. and Secretary, Abasiama C. Sunday, the students described his emergence as meritorious, well-deserved and a clear manifestation of the wishes of Akwa Ibom people.

The students expressed the hope that as a seasoned technocrat and administrators, Mr. Moses Ekpo will use his wealth of experience to add value to the new administration in the state led by Mr. Udom Emmanuel.
While praying God to give the Deputy Governor good health and wisdom to discharge his duties effectively, the students pledged their unalloyed support and loyalty to Mr. Udom Emmanuel’s administration.

The students also rejoiced with Elder Friday Iwok on his landslide victory at the April 11, 2015 State House of Assembly election and subsequent inauguration into the 6th Akwa Ibom House of Assembly as the Member representing Abak State Constituency for a record-second term.

They expressed the hope that having set a record in the history of representation in Abak State Constituency during his first term, Elder Iwok will use his wealth of experience to attract more dividends of democracy to the people of Abak State Constituency.

They prayed God to give him the needed wisdom to discharge his duties effectively.

Similarly, the Federated Abak Students Association (FASA) has congratulated Mr. Aniekan Umanah on his meritorious appointment into the State Executive Council as the Commissioner for Information. They described the appointment of Mr. Umanah as putting a square peg in a square hole. The students noted that while serving as the Commissioner for Information and Communications in the immediate past administration, Mr. Aniekan Umanah projected the image of the state to the outside world and used his position to touch the lives of many people positively.

The Abak Student also saluted Pastor Anietie Ukpe on his appointment as the Director General, Akwa Ibom Broadcasting Corporation (AKBC) and prayed God to give him requisite wisdom to discharge his duties effectively.

The students also rejoiced with Dr. Emmanuel Udosen on his appointment as the Transition Committee Chairman for Abak Local Government area and commended him for organizing the maiden compulsory sanitation exercise which they noted has helped to keep Abak clean.

The student pledged their unalloyed support to his administration and prayed God to give him the wisdom to succeed.
