Invest in Akwa Ibom, Umanah tells investors

The Commissioner for Information and Communications, Mr. Aniekan Umanah has called on investors to emulate the shining example of Chemax Power Plaza by investing in Akwa Ibom State as a way of keying into the industrialization policy of Governor Udom Emmanuel. The Commissioner made the call last weekend during the official opening ceremony of Chemax Power Plaza at 124 Aka road, Uyo.  Mr.Umanah who was represented by his director of Technical Services, Mr. Inyang Jameson gave the assurance that such investments would be successful since Akwa Ibom is the most peaceful state in the country. He commended the chief executive officer of Chemax Power Plaza for the initiative, pointing out that by this investment the business outfit has offered employment to youths and has assisted government in combating poverty.

The information boss therefore encouraged citizens to patronize the products of Chemax Power Plaza, explaining that they were genuine and long lasting.
Afterwards, the Commissioner cut the tape to declare Chemax Power Plaza officially open.
Addressing the occasion, the Chief executive officer of Chemax Power Plaza, Prince Uchenna Ibeagwa expressed delight at the epoch making ceremony, attributing its success to God and the government of the day.
 He explained that Chemax Power Plaza is a multi-electronics / mechanical outfit that is uniquely different from other private electronic outfits because of its direct purchase of products from manufacturers like L.G, Samsung, Thermocool and Beko, adding that the outfit sells standard products with warranty.
Present at the event were Mr. Akpandem James (Communication Consultant), President of Uyo club, Boss Uwem Ekanem technocrats, marketers, business tycoons, brand representatives like Samsung, LG, Thermocool and Beko.
Products sold by Chemax Power Plaza include generators, refrigerators, various brand of televisions, stabilizers, Gas cookers, Washing machines, Home theaters, Irons among others good will massages.
Highlight Of the occasion include prayers, presentation of gifts, raffle draw, dance, comedy, music, refreshment among others.
