Mr and Miss Akwa Ibom teen felicitate with Akwa Ibom teenagers

“It has been a great year for us all and we want to say merry Christmas and a blissful new year” enthused the Mr. and Miss Akwa Ibom teen, who in an exclusive interview narrated all that they have done in the year 2014 which according to them has been a successful year in actualizing their pet projects. 

They earnestly thanked the digital governor Chief (Dr.) Godswill Akpabio for the free and compulsory education he initiated and has been able to sustain it to date.  They also enjoined the teenagers in Akwa Ibom State to be focused and pursue their dreams, but above all, strive to be closer to God in all their endeavours.

Recently, they narrated how they were able to execute one of their joint-pet-projects by visiting and donating gifts items to orphanages across the state but their greatest regret was their inability to erect a vocational centre for skill acquisition for the teenagers of the state due to paucity of funds and plead with good citizens of Akwa Ibom State to assist them in actualizing their ambition to serve the teens in giant strides.

The manager of the Brave Academy, the organizers of the yearly beauty pageantry competition, Mr. Jimmy Martins used the opportunity to thank their esteemed sponsors and promised to put up one of the best beauty pageant of all time come February.  He also said that “forms will be on sale from this year and eligible participants should be ready.”

Mr. and Miss Akwa Ibom Teen in collaboration with the Akwa Ibom Ministry of Culture and Tourism is a platform for the teens across the state to come together and have one voice in the affairs of the state and other issues.
