Governor’s Aide replies Ita Enang, says training not for cult recruitment

Ini Ememobong
Sequel to a recent comment made by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on National Assembly Matters (Senate), Senator Ita Enang alleging that the Udom Emmanuel administration is using the capacity building training to initiate youths into cultism, the Special Assistant to the governor has refuted such allegations.

Comrade Iniobong Ememobong, the Special Assistant to Governor Udom Emmanuel on Political Matters made this known in a press release he made available to the press yesterday. According to Mr Ememobong, the Udom Emmanuel’s administration is committed to training youths of the state to reduce the level of youth unemployment in the state.
The Udom’s administration is guided by the philosophy as espoused by the American Franklyn Roosevelt which states that “we cannot always build the future for our youths, but can build our youth for the future” the statement reads in part. It further states that the various training programmes of the current administration in the state have been in critical sectors of the economy to retool the youth for easy access to employment or prepare them for entrepreneurship.
The Governor’s aide however added that the current administration in the state under Governor Udom Emmanuel was driven by the desire to prepare the youth for a society where nepotism, ethnicity, and pecuniary motivations will not take the front, hence the introduction of the DAKKADA campaign which charges Akwa Ibom people to rise to greatness.
The statement therefore appealed to Senator Ita Enang to always be guided by facts through sufficient enquiries, rather than rush to town with falsehood.
