New Year, new name! 2Face Idibia changes stage name, Set for new release with Phyno

He has always been referred to as 2Baba, even when going by the name 2Face Idibia. Well, in a bid to rebrand, Innocent Idibia officially takes a new stage name for himself – 2Baba. An official statement released by his Hypertek record label reads; The entertainment industry has witnessed a new twist today as multi-award winning artiste, 2face Innocent Idibia, officially rebrands himself with a new stage name; 2Baba.
The Afro pop star, who was recently inducted into the Headies’ Hall of Fame, first hinted his plan to rebrand during the launch of his sixth studio album in 2014 which gave rise to speculations that he would no longer be known as ‘2Face Idibia’.
Aside this, 2Baba has always spoken about his love for his fans and his constant need to deliver good music to them, and he is set to thrill them once again with a new single. The track, his New Year gift to fans, is titled ‘Coded Tinz’.
