Udom’s Aide storms Etoi Clan; Solicits support for PDP

Eka
The Special Assistant to the State Governor on Projects, Hon. Anietie Eka has urged the people of Etoi Clan and Uyo Local Government at large to remain firm and supportive to the State Government in order to attract more dividends of democracy to the area.

Eka, who stated this in his New Year message to the people of the area, noted that Governor Emmanuel’s administration means well to the area and therefore should be encouraged and supported with vigour.
He particularly pointed to the water rehabilitation in Ifa Atai, ground breaking of the shoprite, underground drainage network and other life touching projects in Etoi Clan as well as educational scholarships to students and industrialization agenda for the entire State.
He charged them to remain firm in their support and to resist attempts by those he described as political capitalists to mislead them into what he described again as political wildness. He urged them not to be intimidated by those who have eaten fat from the PDP but could not actualize their personal mission and are now complaining.
The former leader of Uyo Local Government legislative council, pleaded with Etoi people to stand their ground and defend the mandate they earlier gave to Governor Udom Emmanuel and the PDP at large.
Eka appealed strongly to Etoi people to always support and stand for justice by maintaining their stand on the zoning and power rotation formula of the PDP which gave gubernatorial seat to Eket Senatorial District.
Finally, he charged them to defend their votes should there be a re-run of gubernational seat of the State.
