Uyo Transition member Drums support for PDP

The supervisor for political Affairs and information in Uyo local government transition government, Hon. Joseph Etim has urged the people of the local government to continue to give maximum support to the Peoples Democratic Party lead administration in the State. Hon. Joseph Etim who is also the president of Oku Youth Congress, a foremost socio- political group enjoined the electorates to shun opposition especially All Progressive Congress (APC) propaganda to misinform the populace on critical issues of government, because according to him no amount of blackmail can erase the fact that Deacon Udom Emmanuel the Executive government is giving the local government area the well deserved attention in his appointment and infrastructural renassaince since assumption of office.

The transition member mentioned the St. Luke’s Hospital renovation, convertion of 10th Anniversary Hotel to Secretariat complex inclusion of complection of Science park and control of erosion in the Capital city a landmark effort to respond to the yearnings of the people.
He further said the PDP is a Party that has touched the lives of every household for over 16 years now and has become a reliable development platform in the State as such according to Hon. Etim “only a visionless people can dump PDP to embrace the APC who are made up of people who had benefited so much from PDP only to change their clothes and start shouting for change without throwing away all the houses, cars, properties they acquired through PDP to the masses.”
Hon. Etim described the PDP decampees to the opposition parties as “people who are out to swindle the masses to their goodwill through blackmail and propaganda against PDP for selfish interest.”
He however called on the people to continue to support Governor Udom Emmanuel led administration.
