Ikono Movement Defends Victor Udofia

A group Ikono Liberation movement has come out to defend the member representing Ikono in the Akwa Ibom state House of Assembly saying the Hon. Member is not a killer.

The group stated this in a press release signed by Iniodu Essah, Ubong Otung and Mfon Otuk, President, Secretary and PRO respectively and made available to our newsroom.

The release observed that the allegations by a certain Benedict against Udofia that the House of Assembly man wants to kill him is nothing but mischievous and called on well meaning and public spirited members of the Akwa Ibom Community and beyond to discountenance such report as it is baseless and totally wrapped in falsehood.

The Ikono Liberation movement says they have resolved to resist very strongly any attempt by anybody no matter how well placed to drag the name of Victor Udofia to the mud. They said they also condemn in very strong terms the action of those they referred to as erring PDP officers who have benefitted so much from the PDP but by reason of greed have fallen prey to the deceit of a renowned fraudster with a controversial origin.
