Sports Administrator calls for more support for Super Eagles
A Sports Administrator in the state, Mr. Blaise Umoh has described Super Eagles last Saturday’s encounter against the Dersert Foxes of Algeria as their best game in recent time.

Mr. Umoh who spoke with journalists at the Godswill Akpabio’s International Stadium, Uyo shortly after the encounter, congratulate the players and the coaching crew for making the country proud with the resounding 3-1 victory.

The Physical Education instructor noted that the team has recorded remarkable improvement, stressing that with the victory, the team would not play their remaining matches under pressure.
“I am happy with this wonderful performance of our dear Supper Eagles and I also believe that Nigerians all over the world are also happy with this performance. The team has recorded remarkable improvement and with this victory, they will not prosecute their remaining matches under pressure”. Mr. Umoh stated.

He advised the team not to be carried away by the victory, but should remain focused so as to qualify for the 2018 World Cup in Rusia. 

The former Chairman of Nigerian Union of Teachers (NUT) Abak Chapter thanked football fans who trooped out in large number to watch the encounter and called for more of such support in subsequent matches. 

Mr. Umoh commended the Akwa Ibom State Governor, Mr. Udom Emmanuel for putting everything in place for proper hosting of the encounter.
