The Transition Committee Chairman for Abak local government area, Dr. Emmanuel Udosen has re-stated his administration’s readiness to complete the abandoned council secretariat project.
Dr. Udosen who stated this on Wednesday while inspecting the ongoing work at the secretariat complex, explained that it was his desire to complete the secretariat building to provide a conducive atmosphere for council staff to carry out their duties.
Accompanied by the Transition Committee Secretary and other Council Officials, Dr. Udosen called on the people of Abak to continue to support the government of Mr. Udom Emmanuel to enable him succeed in his industrialization and wealth creation policy.
Elders and youths who spoke during the inspection, commended the Transition Committee Chairman for his wisdom to complete the secretariat project, describing it as a welcome development worthy of commendation.
It would be recalled that the Elders of Midim Ward 2 last weekend showered praises on the Transition Committee Chairman for embarking on the project.
They prayed God to give him the enablement to complete the project which they noted, had been abandoned by previous administrations in the area.
