Economic recession: Royal Father calls for Prayers

Economic recession: Royal Father calls for Prayers

A royal father in the state, Eteidung Aniefiok Okoko Udoma has called for continuous prayers to enable the country overcome the present economic challenges.

Eteidung Udoma who is the Village Head of Oku Abak in Abak Local Government Area made the call during the monthly prayer meeting arranged by the village council to seek the face of God.

The royal father sympathized with Nigerians on the hardship being experienced, assuring that there is nothing prayers cannot do.

He called on Church Leaders, Christians and Moslems to pray for leaders at all levels for God to give them wisdom and direction on how to discharge their duties effectively.

The prayer meeting which took place at the village hall was attended by members of the village council, elders, women, youths and children.

Prayers were also offered for the state Governor, Mr. Udom Emmanuel for God to give him wisdom to appoint God-fearing men as commissioners in the yet-to-be re-constituted state executive council.

They prayed that those to be appointed should be people who would join hands together to work for the actualization of the Governor’s industrialization and wealth creation policy.
