Governor Udom Emmanuel has so far, from my assessment given a good account of himself by proving that he is ready and willing to work with us and bring about the much expected development to better Akwa Ibom people in the educational sector  which he  did not even place much emphasis on, in his five point agenda which include wealth creation, economic and political inclusion, poverty alleviation, infrastructural consolidation and expression which he included in his industrialization theme, you can see he is a talk-less and do more Governor, on this note, I call on all my fellow staff in the polytechnic to come with me lets work together, for tomorrow will be better than today”.

He further says that his message for Akwa Poly staff is that he will be fair and firm in handling issues between the government and staff of the polytechnic, in that he will not compromise with the government of the day to betray his fellow staff as he stands for effective representation, participation, justice, equity. fairness, accessibility, accountability, popular consultation, popular sovereignty and majority voice
