The Eket chapter of the All Progressive Congress comprising of 12 local government areas in Akwa Ibom has expressed happiness and solidarity over the appointment of Senator Udoma Udo Udoma to serve as minister by president Buhari.
The Eket chapter of the All Progressive Congress comprising of 12 local government areas in Akwa Ibom has expressed happiness and solidarity over the appointment of Senator Udoma Udo Udoma to serve as minister by president Buhari.
In a statement issued by the chapter chairman Elder Emmanuel Oton and secretary Mr Enobong Ikoiwak, the party thanked the president for choosing an accomplished Akwa Ibom indigene in Senator Udoma describing him as a man of distinction whose watchword is service and his appointment is seen as a call to serve. “Senator Udoma is a man of distinction and his watchword is service” the statement read.
The party also described the Senator as a man who will make the country proud and prayed God to protect him and guide him in all his endeavors and also commended the president’s fight against corruption in the country.
Senator Udoma Udo Udoma who hails from Ikot Abasi Local Government was recently nominated and screened by the senate for ministerial appointment by the president.
