An Akwa Ibom based Technology Group known as Google Developers Group (GDG) is set to hold a Developers’ event tagged Developers’ Festival (DevFest) in Uyo on 20th of November, 2015.
The event which will be held at the Ibom e-library conference hall will witness the lunching of three (3) Technology Startups.
Speaking during the inauguration of the planning committee, Hanson Johnson, the coordinator of the group stressed that after the keynote address presentation, developers will break out for a hands-on workshop after the regular tea break.
Meanwhile the Google Developers Group (GDG) is a group of Technology Enthusiasts that comes together to learn new technology in the IT industry and share ideas on how to solve local challenges and create jobs.
Prominent among the group is Mr. Hanson Johnson, the CEO of Start Innovation Hub located at room 304/305 on the third floor of the Ibom e-library who recently won the NASA Space App Challenge and Ubong Nsekpong the current ICT Manager at Barrister Enoidem NUJ ICT Resource Centre, NUJ Press Centre , Information Drive, Off IBB Way, Uyo.
The expected startups are expected to solve the challenges of Food Ordering, Logistics and errand Delivery.
