Group commends Esit Eket political leader

BY ASSAM ABIA

The political leader of Esit Eket Local Government Area, Elder Benjamin Udobia, C.E.O of Eden Hotel has been commended for his astute political sagacity, youth empowerment and job creation among other achievements. The commendation and vote of confidence was a resolution arrived at in a well-attended meeting of members of Eket Federal Constituency movement (EFECOM) on Sunday in Eket.
In a communique signed by its National President, Prince U. Ubong, Comrade Isaiah Ataka, Comrade John Ayina and Pastor Abigail Effanga, the group passed a vote of confidence on Elder BenjiUdobia for leading the people of Eket Federal Constituency into the proper political perspective since the days of Governor AkpanIsemin.

EFECOM commended the Edor born politician for generating employment for the youths of Akwa Ibom State.
The meeting, the group said was held to appraise the political situation in the Federal Constituency and by extension the State.
A vote of confidence was also passed on Governor Udom Emmanuel for “kicking the ground running” within 100 days in office, adding that if the governorship tribunal sitting in Abuja eventually calls for a re-run as speculated by a section of the media, they were going to reenact the feat they did in the governorship race in Akwa Ibom State.
The group called on the State Governor not to be distracted by the opposition party’s antics as the people of the State are solidly behind his administration and willing to defend the mandate they gave him during the election.
