AK First Lady condoles with PDP Chapter Woman Leader

The wife of Akwa Ibom State Governor, Mrs. Martha Udom Emmanuel recently  paid a condolence visit to the  PDP chapter woman leader in Eastern Obolo LGA Mrs. Nenna Sunday Franklyn over the demise of her husband late Mr. Sunday Franklyn, from Okoroete town, Eastern Obolo Local Government Area, who died at the age of 57.

The Governor’s wife who was represented by her special assistant on women affairs Mrs. Mercy Cephas, while condoling with the bereaved described the deceased as a devout Christian who derived joy in putting smiles on people’s faces. Mrs. Emmanuel said late Sunday Franklyn while alive was a respected community leader and a philanthropist who contributed immensely to the growth of his immediate community and the society at large, adding that  his departure is a great loss not only to his immediate community but the state at large. She however urged the bereaved, Mrs. Nenna Franklyn to be consoled with the fact that her late husband left a lasting legacy.
In appreciation, the bereaved, Mrs. Nenna Sunday Franklyn thanked the governor’s wife, Mrs. Martha Udom Emmanuel for her support and show of love during her moment of grief, saying that her visit is well appreciated.  She described the Governor’s wife as a true and caring mother who is determined to put smiles on the faces of all the women in Akwa Ibom state, praying that God will reward her labour of love.
