Ward 3 Urban Eket passes vote of confidence on Gov. Udom, Frank Archibong

The People Democratic Party (P. D. P) Ward 3 Urban in Eket L. G. A has passed a vote of confidence on Governor Udom Emmanuel and the Transition Chairman of the Council, Hon Frank Archibong.

In an executive meeting held at the Ward Office in Eket on Monday Courtesy of the Ward Chairman, Obong Samuel Maurice Ekpikot, the Party Faithful resolved to support Governor Udom ahead of the 2019 gubernatorial election.
Ekpikot described Udom Emmanuel as the biblical Joshua of Akwa Ibom State who led the Children of God aright despite huddles and challenges they encountered on their way to the Promised Land.

He thanked the executive members to the party in the ward for being loyal and faithful to the party despite “fake defection of P. D. P members reported in some section of the media in the State.

“Eket Local Government Area remains a P. D. P Local Government despite the fake defection of our members to the A. P. C reported in a section of the media in the State” Ekpikot said.


He called on the People of Eket to support the administration of Governor Udom Emmanuel who he said has performed well, given the lean financial resources accruable to the State since the inception of the present administration.

The ward chairman thanked the Governor for empowering members of the party at ward level with inter-ministerial job which is also to develop the State in infrastructure.

The exco-members unanimously passed a vote of confidence on the transition chairman, Hon Frank Archibong for returning Eket to its former glory as the cleanest town in the state and pledged to support him in any future election in the State.

Obong Ekpikot who is currently the chairman Eket motor park committee Commended Hon David Lawrence, member representing Eket State constituency for his effective representation and the State party chairman for his administrative acumen in steering the ship of the party steadily despite distractions from the centre.
