A renowned Catholic Priest in the State, Very Rev. Fr. (Dr.) Christian Usungurua has advised the State Deputy Governor, Mr. Moses Ekpo to continue to put God first in all his endeavours as he has been doing over the years.
Rev. Fr. Usungurua who spoke with Journalists at Abak shortly after the State Deputy Governor was enthroned as the Patron of St. John Pro-Cathedral, Abak Parish, said Mr. Moses Ekpo has proved everybody wrong because despite tight schedules, he still attends morning prayers, Moses, spiritual exercises and religious devotion very faithfully.
The Cleric pointed out that since the Deputy Governor has decided to put God first in all his endeavours, every other thing shall be added unto him. “As a Patron, Mr. Moses Ekpo should continue to be faithful to his God, seek first the face of God and every other thing shall be possible for him. Service to God and humanity is the watch word for Patron Moses Ekpo”, Rev. Fr. Usungurua advised.
Rev. Fr. Usungurua who delivered homily at the Enthronement Service centered his message on the need for the people of Akwa Ibom State to love one another and live peacefully as one indivisible entity.
