As the Women of Abak roll out drums to receive the Wife of the State Governor, Mrs. Martha Udom Emmanuel today, the Transition Committee Chairman for the area, Dr. Emmanuel Udosen has on behalf of his dear wife, Barr (Mrs) Kubianga Emmanuel Udosen, the Transition Committee and the entire people of Abak heartily welcomes, Her Excellency, Mrs. Martha Udom Emmanuel to Abak.
Dr. Udosen commended Mrs. Martha Udom Emmanuel for using her pet project, the Family Empowerment and Youth Re-Orientation Programme to touch the lives of many people especially the widows and the less privileged ones in the society.
The Transition Committee chairman wished the State First Lady and her entourage a very peaceful and successful stay in Abak.
Dr. Udosen has accordingly invited the State Deputy Governor, Mr. Moses Ekpo, the Member for Abak State Constituency in Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Elder Friday Iwok, the Special Adviser Bureau of Cooperative Development, Mrs. Ekemini Umoh, Permanent Secretaries, Pastor Praise Okon and Dr. (Mrs.) Valerie Obot, PDP Chapter Chairman, Dr. Mike Udoh, PDP Senatorial Woman Leader, Mrs. Useneno Tom, PAs and SAs to the Governor from Abak extraction, Transition Committee Secretary and members, Head of Local Government Service, Chairman and members NULGE.
Also invited are the Paramount Ruler for Abak, Obong Christopher Ukpe and other Traditional Rulers, the DPO, Commander 6 Battalion Nigerian Army, Ibagwa and other Security Operatives, Senior citizens of Abak, Party Chieftains, Youths and Women Groups, Social-Cultural and Political Organizations and the entire people of Abak to turn out and give the State First Lady a rousing welcome. The event will take place at Government Technical College, Abak by 10am.
