A socio-political organization in Abak Local Government Area, the Conglomeration of Youths for Democratic Liberty (CYDL) has congratulated one of its Patrons, Rt. Hon. (Sir) Uduak Edem on his recent appointment as the Special Assistant to the Governor on Project Monitoring.
In a congratulatory message signed by the Coordinator, Comrade Monday Isaac, Secretary General, Mr. Utibe Godwin and Publicity Secretary, Mr. Benedictus Benedict, CYDL described the appointment as meritorious and well deserved.
CDYL in the message, expressed the hope that as a committed member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) since its formation and an outstanding grassroot politician the new SA will use his wealth of experience to add value to the Udom Emmanuel’s administration as well as mobilizing support for his re-election in 2019.
The Organization pledged their continuous loyalty and support to the new SA and prayed God to give him the requisite wisdom to discharge his duties effectively.
Meanwhile, the Conglomeration of Youths for Democratic Liberty (CYDL) has commended the Member for Abak State Constituency in Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. (Elder) Friday Iwok for giving the people of Abak effective and purposeful representation.
The organization thanked the two-term Lawmaker for his role in the appointment of Rt. Hon. Uduak Edem as SA to the Governor on Project Monitoring and for having the interest of the people of Afaha Obong Clan at heart especially through his recent public declaration that the Chairmanship position of Abak Local Government Area is zoned to Afaha Obong Clan.
