Uyo Ward 6 drums support for Governor Udom Emmanuel

On Sunday the 7th of may 2017, ward 6 Chairman in the Uyo local government area, Comrade Akaninyene Eyo, held a ward sensitization meeting, a meeting that has the present of the honourable Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr. Charles Udoh, the SA to the Governor on Entertainment Mr. David Okon Sargent aka Utang Akwa Ibom and others political class. 

According to the Chairman, the meeting was to get more information about the ward and the party (PDP). Comrade Akaninyene stated that Pop is a United party that is ready to return Deacon Udom Emmanuel come 2019, which is also set to return back to power at the federal level. 

The Ward Chairman, also urge the ward to take advantage in the ongoing Voter’s Card and National Identity Card Registration. 

Hear him “ I urge all those who lost their Cards and those that is of Voting age to take advantage in the ongoing Voter’s Card Registration, through your Voter’s Card, we will stand to defend PDP come 2019". 

Making a comment on the location of the Voter’s Card registration which is at the INEC office in Ikot Akpan Abia, the ward Chairman maintain that, the echos will sponsor transportation to as many that have transportation problem to the INEC Office. 

Comrade Akaninyene also made known the intention of the ward to undergo a ward tour come 25th of this month. Also speaking in the event, Hon. Felix Ubou stated that, nothing will affect PDP, according to him, PDP knows how there always win elections that with the same strategy adopted, PDP will win come 2019. 

Hon. Ubou urged the party fateful to continue in settling in PDP, he also commented on the need to honor Deacon Udom Emmanuel on the peace enjoyed in the state and prompt payment of workers salaries. Also speaking, Elder Umem Asuquo in his speech, urge ward 6 to play politics as if there are going to church, not for offering or position sake but for service sake. 

Hon. Ini Patrick, on his speech stated that ward 6 always decide election in Uyo, hear him “ we are always number one when it comes to politics, ward 6 always decide election in Uyo and come 2019, ward 6 will still decide again, let us leave sentiment and drums our support for His Excellency Deacon Udom Emmanuel. 

SA on Entertainment on his party, commended the state governor for a worthy appointment of Mr. Charles Udoh in to the state executive Council and also finding him worthy to serve him in the Entertainment Industry. Utang Akwa Ibom as fondly call, news his ward on the six people from the ward which he place on his payroll. 

He also added, Obongawam Hellen Solomon aka Mma Nkanika to make it seven. According to him “I am doing these to show appreciation to my people on the support given to the governor during his 2015 election. 

Mr. Charles Udoh, the honourable Commissioner for Information and strategy on his speech, applaud Mr. Udom Emmanuel for appointing him into the state executive Council and for his prompt payment of worker’s salaries and his industrialization strides. Mr. Charles Udoh urge the people to take advantage in the ongoing Voter’s Card and National Identity Card Registration, he further assured his ward that he will ensure the mobilization from the different units to the INEC Registration Center.
