Umana Umana is a womanizer, Says Udoedehe

Umana Umana is a womanizer, Says Udoedehe Umana Umana is a womanizer, Says Udoedehe
I recently read Obong Umana Umana’s online publication in which he referred to me as a “tout”, apart from spewing several other vicious, but false invectives on my person. My first reaction was that of amusement; not just because Umana advertised his absolute ignorance, but also because I satisfied myself that true to type, he would employ no other weapon except his trademark, ignoble vehicle of falsehood to press home his ignorance and dishonesty. Honestly, Umana cut the picture of a very desperate man; a drowning man looking for straw to clutch on; and I wouldn’t ordinarily bother to dignify him with a response, but will inconvenience myself in this instance, for the benefit of the younger generation, who may be misinformed or ignorant of the pertinent issues. In the context, I will attempt a point by point rebuttal of Umana’s diatribe, with a view to buttressing the fact of his superlative desperation and depravity.

Umana referred to me as a “thug”. Well, this is contradictory; because he also referred to me as his “friend” and his “brother”. Now, how could Umana who wants the public to believe he is a noble man, befriend a thug? Umana seems to forget his long history of activity related to thuggery; and this I will highlight in the course of this publication. He also does not seem to note that I do not belong in his confraternity, cult, or whatever; and so I wonder what bond of brotherhood we share.

*  Says he is a spent force, not bold enough to lead
*  Why Ex-SSG failed last election

APC strongman and  former Minister of State for the FCT Senator John James Akpanudoedehe has described the 2015 APC gubernatorial candidate Obong Umana Okon Umana as a man that is timid, uncoordinated and full of inferiority complex.

The Uyo born political heavyweight stated this last week when he hosted select media chiefs to a  Christmas breakfast parley in the second parlour of his Chapel Villa residence in Uyo.

Senator John Udoedehe retorted that the timidity of Umana who left PDP for APC as a spent force and with his spent forces did not give PDP the kind of opposition ACN gave during his time and expressed belief that a man with traits and attributes of Umana cannot win any election anywhere.

Udom: Rising to the occasion of leadership

Udom: Rising to the occasion of leadership

BY JOE INIODU

Leadership is a complex art that requires unique skills. The         manifestations of its deposit in any individual are usually tested at periods of challenges. The tragic incident of the collapse of Reigners Bible Church International during the planned Bishopric Enthronement of Apostle Akan Weeks which led to scores of dead and injured people came as Governor Udom Emmanuel’s test as a leader. Suffice it to so that he has acquitted himself creditably in the way he has managed the unfortunate incident.

The governor who himself was in the building and narrowly escaped death was able to overcome the trauma of the near shave with death to continue his role of leadership. In such emotional and dark moments of gloom, many go blank and only depend on leaders who are still able to retain sanity and mental equanimity to think and reason rationally. Emerging from the rubbles of a collapsed building with scores of dead and injured persons littering the precinct is enough to numb one into blankness. But not Governor Emmanuel who rose to the daunting demands of that dark hour.
