Elder Ibekwe celebrates 80th birthday ...as he launch a book ‘tales of millennium’.

It was remarkable when the Wife, Children, Grand Children, and Great Grand Children of Elder Mmarak Udokang Ibekwe of Ikot Inyang Abia, Ukanafun Local Government Area in Akwa Ibom State, came out en-mass with relations, friends, associates and well wishers to celebrates him at his 80th years of Life, Love, teaching career, God’s blessing and a Book Presentation title ‘Tales of the Millennium’. 

The event held yesterday,  when a man with the hearts of service to humanity and a renowned teacher par excellence both in public and private schools was extolled. Speaking with the press the immediate past Chairman of Conference of Qua Iboe Church Akwa Ibom State, Rev. Victor Isaac said that when a man’s way pleased God, his blessing comes upon him  and Elder Ibekwe is an expression of God’s benevolence.

The Clergy added that God is the rewarder of those who diligently seek him.  He called on the people to live for God by love your neighbor and serve God with all your heart there the promise of God will come to pass in your life. The Chairman of the occasion Dr. Owen Isaac Akpanuko described him as a contributor, a genius not even tire though he has retired in active service he is still active.


Akpanuko  maintained that he is an achiever, with eight Children  and all are graduates. Adding that he has been teaching since fifty,  sixty and up till now he is still teaching.

He called on the youths to think about humanity, what to contribute to the people and the society at large and not what the people will do for them. As it  is written in Ephesians chapter six ‘children honor your parents in the Lord for this right’. This word is with a promised of long Life. Elder Inibehe Asuquo Udo fetes Chief Ibekwe at 80th birthday. Noting that the Character of the celebrant is worth emulating as he is not tribal designate rather accept people who came his way and not bias when giving judgement.

Elder Udo urged movies producers, to also produce it on film, since most people preferred to watched movies than reading. He charged Parents to wake to man their responsibility to fore stall social norms, peace and order
