PDP contributed to the numberous contradiction and crisis which afflicted the state society – hunger, prostitution, crime, worker’s unrest, non payment of wages, bureaucratic inefficiency, corruption etc. in short PDP has a lot to do with the demise of the state and country’s democratic order their cabinet became a cabinet of touts, they openly killed the economy and aggressively looted the treasury. PDP has the largest gathering of the worst human beings that Akwa Ibom State and Nigeria could produce. The President in particular is guilty of condoning the rime committee by his governors and political appointees.

The PDP under the leadership of Godswill Akpabio in Akwa Ibom State has negatively affected workers and families at large; so many workers have had their wives desert them, because of their failure to cater for their basic needs, as they could not collect their salaries for several months.
So many are indebted to avaricious money lenders (shylocks) their sons and daughters thrown out of school, as they could not pay their fees and allowances on time. Needless to point to other societal ills compounded by those problems. The state of affairs, the bankruptcy of the system and level of apathy and alienation had reached alarming proportion; it is time to change the music. Down with the enemies of the peoples the exploiters of the weak and oppressors of the poor; now the days of those who have enriched themselves at the expense of the poor are numbered. The common man in Akwa Ibom State today can no longer be fooled by sweet talk at election time only to be exploited and treated like dirt after the booty of office has been shared among them. PDP force people to retreat into chauvinistic forms of struggle and protect, were completely divorced from meeting the basic needs of the majority. During 2011 election Governor Akpabio depended on existing access to public funds and the coercive instruments of state, employed bribery, thuggery, manipulation wide – spread rigging, victimization and other extra – illegal measures in order to win votes.
The shame less rigging and the widespread perversion of the electoral process could not, in all honesty have been said to have produced a government of the people by the people. The state was heading towards an economic collapse and political chaos; these had direct implications on peace, stability and integration. The party under the leadership of Akpabio continues to be tribally based; irrational in public pronouncements intolerant of opposition and myopic in perspectives eroded by poverty and hunger.
The problem of the state was survival. The party is pollutant to Akwa Ibom State and Nigerian situation and its powerful roles are generally evil, was frequently described by members of the public as being frivolous and immoral. I want the good people of Akwa Ibom State to be delivered from the yoke of PDP even though we have under gone the most painful trauma we have emotional scars will continue to haunt us for year to come.
We should not allow ourselves to be discouraged or overwhelmed by these unfortunate experiences rather we should draw inspiration from the brighter chapters of our state during Gov. Attah’s administration, in a determined spirit, enlarge the reservoir of our resourcefulness, creativity, sense of sacrifice and commitment we have accumulate of this eventful years. It is glaring that its performance never reflected a national character and hence the little support it has are paid mobilizes and was not enough to integrate the three principal ethnic groups in Nigeria, it support base did not go across the spectrum of the nation.
