Ini Ememobong ends door to door campaign

* Penetrates APC strongholds in Ibiono
* Gets support for PDP

The Special Adviser to the Governor on Students matters Barr Ini Ememobong has made a very deep penetration into the APC strong hold in Ibiono when he got assurances of the people of USE NDON to support the Peoples Democratic Party.

USE NDON is the home town of the APC state secretary popularly known as Charles Taylor as well as that of the Ibiono Ibom State constituency APC candidate Akparawa Ime Okon. 

And for about one month running, Ememobong have been travelling the length and breadth of his community canvassing support for the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party. At each home the former NANS president visited, he took time to explain to the people why they should rely on the candidates of the PDP as their hope.

Ememobong who is also a member of the Jonathan/Sambo campaign organization described President Goodluck Jonathan as a man that has all it takes to lead Nigeria to the land of Promise the country is seeking to get to. He said the problems facing the country today is not created by Jonathan but that the President is doing all within his honest abilities to solve the problems. He said, with Jonathan at the helms of affairs for the country, Nigeria will get better.

Furthermore the youth leader informed the People of USE NDON that Governor Godswill Akpabio’s legacy can only be improved upon by the leadership of Mr. Udom Gabriel Emmanuel. He said, the PDP guber candidate is coming to continue in the uncommon transformation that the state has witnessed for about eight years running and tasked them on the need for them to go all out to get their PVCs so that when the election time comes, they can all go out in their large numbers to vote and deliver the PDP. He appealed to the people not to sell their PVCs as according to him, that is where their power resides. 

On his political mobilization and consultation, Barr Ini Ememobong also made a case for the PDP candidate for Uyo Senatorial District Obong Bassey Albert were he informed the people of USE NDON that OBA is the man that has the interest of the people at heart. He mentioned to them that they should all rise in support of Obong Bassey Albert so that the ex finance commissioner will get victory to the senate as according to him, if OBA gets there, he will not forget the people and will give the people effective representation. 

He also solicited for prayers asking that the people should pray against violence and bloodshed in the coming elections. And that God should ensure Governor Akpabio wins election to the senate, Udom wins to become the next Governor, OBA wins to get to the senate and Imeh Okon wins to get to the House of Assembly. He noted that it is the PDP alone that knows and understands the problems of the people of USE NDON and will be able to fix them.

In all, the people of USE NDON had assured the canvasser of their willingness and determination to ensure that they support the PDP in all her election. The people expressed excitement over the humility of Ini Ememobong popularly known as Timmy. They said for the Governor’s aide to show them such humility and come to negotiate with them that they will definitely support the PDP. They took turns to offer God’s blessings to PDP candidates and appealed to Ini Ememobong to go and tell the Government and the PDP that they should not forget them when they emerge victorious.
