Controversy trails A’Ibom Tourism Board, Sammy  Cleff Entertainment, ors … As miss Akwa Ibom lives in penury, impersonation
Controversy has hit Akwa Ibom Tourism  Board. Those also involved in the maze of controversy include Sammy Cleff Entertainment Company, the creative Director and the Manager of Miss Akwa Ibom.

Speaking in a media chart last weekend in Uyo, Miss Akwa Ibom, Redah Paul said that Sammy Cleff is greedy and incompetent in organising and managing Miss Akwa Ibom, adding that he (Sammy Clef) has impersonated Miss Akwa Ibom on several occasions without recourse to his senses or caring to get her consent on issues that involves her.
She noted that Sammy Cleff has formed a dubious alliance with the first runner up Miss Blessing Usen to blackmail the crowned queen before the Akwa Ibom Tourism Board and the good people of the State. Continuing, she added that the star price: a jeep, one million naira, six months hair do, clothing, a trip to South Africa and other consolation prices to contestants are not released rather, they are plotting to impeach her. She noted that the constitution of pageantry in Nigeria has no provision for Akwa Ibom Tourism Board to impeach a crowned queen. 

Miss Akwa Ibom explained further that Sammy Cleff is incapable, unorganised and highly incompetent to organise and manage Miss Akwa Ibom, in a state like Akwa Ibom.

“By the power vested in me, I have decided to choose my own Company, Dan Francis,” she noted.

Queen Paul also thanked the State Governor, Chief Godswill Akpabio and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism for their support and pleaded that government should come to her aid towards actualising her pet projects in the state. 

In the same vein, the Creative Director and the Manager of Miss Akwa Ibom, Dan Francis in his solidarity message said that the brand of Miss Akwa Ibom should be transformed. 

He mentioned that people are always quick in bringing up baseless and unsubstantiated allegations that are not true in order to take advantage of the monetary benefits that comes with the office

He stressed that he partnered with Sammy Cleff to organise Miss Akwa Ibom 2014/2015 edition, adding that Sammy Cleff went to the Akwa Ibom Tourism Board and blackmailed the Creative Director and the Manager of Miss Akwa Ibom.

“We signed  a  memorandum of understanding between Sammy Cleff Entertainment and the Creative Director and Manager of Miss Akwa Ibom but they went on to frame up issues and impersonate the queen.’’

Sammy Cleff is causing problems with a brand that is reputable. If we were to flex muscles, I am the one that owns the company. My partner has been going round telling people things which is not true.

Sammy Cleff should explain why he wants to impeach the queen that won the crown on merit according to the Constitution of Pageantry in Nigeria”, he noted.

He stressed that the franchise of Miss Akwa Ibom should be on for a period of five years or more to a reputable company to organise and manage it with professional touch.

 Attempts to speak with Sammy Cleff Entertainment proved abortive as he did not respond to the allegations levelled against him.
