WBC heavy weight champion Vitali Klitschko to run for presidency

Vitali Klitschko, the current WBC heavyweight champion of the World has declared his intention to run for the ex-Soviet Nation’s presidency in 2015.

The 42 year old was elected to parliament last fall as the head of his pro-Western Party, Udar (“Punch” in English). Since then, Klitschko has campaigned against what he calls authoritarian moves by President Victor Yanukovych.
Vitali Klitschko is the reigning WBC heavyweight champions having held the title since October 2008, when he defeated the Nigerian nightmare Samuel Peter in Berlin and has successfully defended the title against the likes of Albert Sosnowski, Shannon Briggs, Dereck Chicora and Manuel Charr.
