“The shortest and surest way to live with honour in the world, is to be in reality what we would appear to be”, those were the words of Socrates, which came to being in the life of the Proprietor of Christian Montessori Nursery and Primary School, Obong Vincent B. Udosen, last week when the Association of Beauty Kings and Queens paid him a courtesy visit. The Award of excellence was given to him as a mark of honour, for his remarkable achievement in the educational sector of Akwa Ibom State and his contributions to the society.
The event was addressed by the president, Ukeme Michael who made it known that the award was given to the Proprietor after a committee was set up, to painstakingly, choose men and women of excellence, for such honour.
The Proprietor eulogized the Association for putting smiles on the faces of the less privileged in the society and also gave them his support and encouragement.
He further reiterated the fact that Christian Montessori Schools is the first school to have a Science laboratory for pupils; adding that the children acquire computer knowledge from the Nursery level. He also enjoined the youths to be good Ambassadors of the society; following the ways and precepts of the Lord.
